Biography
Judge Buttner graduated from Florida State University in 1963 and Cumberland Law School in 1967, where he received his Juris Doctor. He was General Counsel for Blue Cross/Blue Shield from 1967 through 1969. He was with the State Attorneys office, 4th Judicial Circuit from 1969 through 1972. He was in private practice from 1972 through 1990. He has been a Circuit Judge from 1990 to the Present.

Judge Buttner has been happily married to Gail for 41 years. He is the father of two children: Rick, who is now an Attorney and Stephanie, who is a Speech Pathologist.
