ANNUAL CLAY COUNTY BAR HOLIDAY BANQUET
Thursday, December 11th 2008 - 11:30 AM

Please join us for the ANNUAL CLAY COUNTY BAR HOLIDAY BANQUET at the Club Continental on December 11th at 11:30 a.m (Note that this is a change from the original anticipated date of Dec. 4th). We expect to be served promptly at noon and have a full program for your enjoyment.

Please RSVP to David King at 269-6699 with the number attending and menu selection. You may choose your entrée from the menu below. The cost is $25 and payment can be sent to the Clay Bar P.O. Box as usual.

MENU SELECTIONS:

Mixed Greens with Walnuts, Feta Cheese and a Light Grapefruit Vinaigrette

With your choice of either:

Baked Crab Crusted Grouper, garnished with Maine Lobster crème

Or

Seared Prime 8oz Ribeye Steak, with Roasted Mushroom Jus

And

A Chocolate Raspberry Torte

Also, this year, the Clay County Bar would like to provide some holiday cheer for Quigley House, a very important organization in our community. Quigley House is a Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Center serving Clay County . It provides crisis intervention, temporary shelter, protection, counseling, community education and prevention programs to stop domestic abuse and adult sexual assault. They are in need of several items listed below. If you and your staff would like to contribute, please bring any items to our holiday luncheon or feel free to drop them off at Maryanne Yeomans office anytime, 1045 N. Orange Avenue , Green Cove Springs (904) 264-6000. Cash contributions would be appreciated as well. Thank you in advance for your help for this very worthy agency.

Residents’ Needs:
Night clothes of all sizes, including pjs, slippers, robes, for both women and children
Underwear and socks, all sizes, for both women and children
Pocket Planners/Calendars
Gift Cards (Gas, Wal-Mart, Grocery, hair cuts, pre-paid long distance phone cards)
Make-up
Purses
Relaxation tapes and cassette/CD players
Alarm Clocks

Shelter Needs:
Bed Pillows
Linens for bunk beds (twin size)
Alarm Clocks
Table lamps
Blankets/Comforters
Towels and wash cloths
Tissues
Pots and Pans
Cash donation and/or Wal-Mart gift cards for incidentals and repairs
